Discover the magic of the Amazon in Tambopata! the other facet, from the non-tourist side, you will know its people and their customs, their daily activities, their stories. you will know the original jungle as few know how to do it, you will participate in their daily chores and enjoy their local foods. you will understand many realities in health issues and their medicinal plants and their hunting days to survive in the jungle. We will go into the remotest part of the Amazon, we will travel 6 hours of river travel on the Tambopata River, we will learn how the riverside people travel and their modes of transportation in these immense waters of its rivers. We will be in the middle of nowhere without seeing a single tourist, just you and nature.
In this vast jungle are the Tambopata River, Madre de Dios River, Malinoski River and many streams, creeks and lakes.

Itinerary
Experiential Tour 3 days
1st Day: Puerto Maldonado – Baltimore Tambopata
We will leave at 8 am by river in a shared family boat for approximately 06 hours to reach the community of Baltimore, the tour will be making many stops to leave the people who will travel with us who live in nearby communities and are riverside, normally these people go down to the big cities to shop and stock up on basic necessities such as sugar, salt, oil, milk and others. During the trip we will be able to observe the fauna and flora in the Tambopata River and tributaries, we will arrive at our destination in the afternoon, here we will show you the family house and the customs and precautions that we must have. Here we will have the accommodation, dinner and overnight accompanied by stories and legends told by the locals.
2nd Day: Baltimores Buena Ventura Camp.
After a nutritious breakfast based on jungle products, we will begin our agricultural activities typical of the Amazon.
– Cultivation and harvesting of products such as cassava or manioc, bananas, papayas, corn,
– Feeding domestic animals such as chickens, ducks, pigs, and cows.
– Identification and collection of medicinal plants.
– Artisanal fishing for local consumption.
– Visit to neighboring riparian families.
Overnight stay one more night in the family’s house with meals included.
3rd Day: Baltimore – Puerto Maldonado.
We will return after breakfast, after saying goodbye to the family that welcomed us, we will leave on a boat trip for 1 hour on the Tambopata River until we reach the community of Filadelfia, here we will take our land transportation to get to the city of Puerto Maldonado, to go to the airport or bus terminal.
